With the availability of the BlackBerry device first 10 fast approaching, some additional details about the first two handsets have emerged. Courtesy of the internal slide leaked from RIM, we now know the allegations and the resolution of the screen technology is implemented in the first two smartphones, the upcoming RIM OS will boot.
L-series BlackBerry handset will be the first to break cover. This will offer a touchscreen smartphone just experience - right in line with previous rumors on the subject. L-Series smart phones will offer the first OLED display with a resolution of 1280x768 pixels is impressive (think BlackBerry developer unit 10 alpha here). Pixel density of the bound to be even more impressive at 356ppi. L-screen smartphone first series is expected to be 55mm wide.
BlackBerry N-series on the other hand will be available by RIM puritan fun, hardware QWERTY keyboard at some point in Q1, 2013. The first member of the BlackBerry N-series will also sport an OLED display. To make room for the hardware keyboard, the unit has a resolution of 720x720 pixels trimmed to. But the pixel density is almost as impressive as in the L-series at 330ppi, while the width of the unit is in the range 52-53mm.
We're quite curious to see both in clothing production, given the fact that the fate of the company's handset business may depend on them. Sure, we'll keep you posted as soon as we find out more details.
